Support Us

The Stuart Hall Foundation is committed to supporting new generations of creative thinkers to challenge the status quo, and to provoking original thinking, debate and research. Together with our growing international network of Fellows, universities, institutional partners and funders, we are now setting out to lead the discourse around the challenging issues of our time and to bring about positive social change.

Inspired by the life and work of Professor Stuart Hall, our programme operates at the intersection of art, politics and society. Our opening programme will include a series of film screenings, debates and other public events across the UK, while a new digital research project will illuminate the connections between past and present culturally diverse arts initiatives and cultural activism in Britain over the past 50 years.

As a new Foundation, we are seeking support from individuals and funders who share our vision for a more equal society, in order to realise our ambitious plans over the coming years. With your support, we shall be able to create additional scholarships, fellowships and artist’s residencies and develop a vital public programme, which will be at the centre of the discourse around important and urgent issues of the day.
