Annie Goh

PHD SCHOLAR | GOLDSMITHS, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON | 2015–2016

Annie is a PhD candidate at Goldsmiths, University of London, Department of Media and Communications. She was awarded a Stuart Hall PhD scholarship in 2015–16 and was funded by CHASE/AHRC from 2016–18.

Annie is an artist, researcher and performer working primarily with sound, space, electronic media and generative processes within their social and cultural contexts. She holds degrees in Sound Studies, Generative Art and German & European Studies. 

She has published in MAP – Media | Archive | Performancen.paradoxa: feminist art journal & Flusseriana: An Intellectual Toolbox

Recent exhibitions and performances include Sexing Sound (Chicago, US), Höhlenmediale (Wendelstein, DE), Arthackday at LEAP and Transmediale (Berlin, DE) and Tokyo Wonder Site (Tokyo, JP). 

Annie has co-curated the discourse program of CTM Festival since 2013 and has lectured at Berlin University of Arts (Art and Media) and Humboldt University (Media Theory).
